We will have services on Sunday mornings unless there is a state of emergency declared. While we would love to have everyone here, please consider road conditions and safety when making your decision.
The sermon on Sunday, Jan. 5 will be "The Gospel of Jesus."
Every Sunday from 12:30-2:30 there will be open basketball in the gym for all ages middle school and up. This is headed up by Darnell Smith.
We rejoice in the news that this new year Jasmine Stromatt and Larry Lewis made the decision to be baptized! We wish them both blessings on blessings in this new year with their walk with Jesus!
The church is collecting canned fruit for the Washington County Food Bank and 40 gallon trash bags for the Warming Station at the Salem Presbyterian Church. Donations may be left inside the entryway of Southern Hills Church.
Jeff Martin is celebrating a birthday Jan. 11.
Contribution statements for 2024 will be available upon request. Please contact Kennedy in the church office if you would like one.
Anyone wishing to assist with communion may sign up. on the list located in the lobby. If you have any questions, please contact Steve or one of the Shepards.
Also, please fill out a connection card if you would like to help in the following areas: worship, children's ministry, hospitality, nursery, prayer ministry, outreach and funeral meals.
The church is in the process of rehanging our family photo wall! We would like everyone represented! Please bring in a black framed photo. If vou have any question please reach out to the office!
Update:
We wanted to reach out with heartfelt thanks and an update regarding the preschool sponsorship for our student. We are pleased to inform you that we have secured a sponsor for their tuition, and they will be able to continue attending classes.
