Jimmy Ray Sparrow
Mr. Jimmy Ray Sparrow, age 61, of Pekin, passed away Thursday, January 23 at his home.
Mr. Sparrow was born August 8, 1963 in Jeffersonville, Indiana the son of Ernest Virgil and Barbara Ann Seely Sparrow. Jimmy was a farmer at heart but also worked construction throughout his life
He is survived by two sisters: Elizabeth Sparrow of Salem, and Pamela Sparrow also of Salem, several nieces and nephews, and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by three brothers: Ernest Eugene Sparrow, William Lee Sparrow and George Earl Sparrow, a sister: Sandra Lynn Arias, and his parents.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 1 at 11AM at Salem Nazarene Church, 398 N. Harrison St. Salem. Visitation will be Friday, January 31 from 4-6PM at Weathers Funeral Home.
